I’m an award-winning journalist at MarketWatch, where I cover student loans, consumer debt and education. My book Sunk Cost, which exposes the forgotten origins of the student loan system, how politicians have attempted to fix it, and the life-altering damage borrowers face, will be published in April 2025.

In 2020, I completed Columbia University’s Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economics Journalism. I also graduated with my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2021. Prior to MarketWatch, I was a business reporter at HuffPost, where I wrote about retail and food companies as well as workplace diversity. My work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Bloomberg.
